“ Neighborhood gem with excellent breakfast and coffee options. The drip coffee is delicious and we really enjoyed the mushroom and onion brekkie. Everyone was friendly at Roy's, as were all the people eating there. ”
“ I love this neighborhood cafe. There's always a good mixed crowd of hipsters, children, and elderly. Coffee is yummy and service is fast. They also have some shirts and beanies for sale. A perk is that you can find out about events going on in the neighborhood from the cork board! ”
“ Nostalgic, great food (the cherry tart was awesome). Wonderful treats (cookie was great). Complementary milk bones for my pup back home. I love the atmosphere. And the classic Coca Cola machine is nostalgic ”
“ Roy’s Station serves Verve coffee. It is extraordinary. The young people who work there are very knowledgeable and friendly. They remember our preferences. It is such a pleasure to go for a cup of coffee to Roy’s Station. In addition people working there are artists. Check out the creation on my latte. ”
“ This place is the heart of the Japan Town community. It's a meeting place for locals, it's a hub for anyone who has a dog, and the family that run it are some of the most wonderful people I've had the pleasure of meeting. Anyone who stops in only once might just see a local coffee shop, but anyone who comes back and spends some time there will see a thriving neighborhood hub. ”
“ Finally I got the chance to try Roy's and it didn't disappoint. From the outside looking in, Roy's has the best location. Situated in the corner lot in the heart of Japan Town, across from the Buddhist temple, Roy's has a cute outdoor seating area with ample spaces. In a sunny day like today, you can see people hanging out here with friends and pets, having a sip of coffee while catching up or doing their homework. Parking is a bit tricky as it's Japan town. But if you're willing to walk a bit, there're always street parkings 1 or 2 blocks away. One step inside Roy's and you'll be taken back to older historic times. Roy's so charming with two corner big window, classic coke dispensing machine and a red brick wall with arts and plants donning it. The delicious coffee smell mixed with yummy pastries welcomed me and made me feel immediately at home. The line was a bit long but it moved fast. I order Green Tea Latte on their special menu. My drink came out fast. I really enjoyed how light and smooth it was! The latte left a lovely aftertaste and I grew more and more in love with every sip. I'll definitely come back on a different day to actually sit down and enjoy a slow Saturday morning next time here. Until then, sayonara! ”
“ Sharing this fun video as I found the Roy’s solar dancing window view is so so so fascinating! Staring at it is just so fun! Thanks ”
“ super adorable spot! it reminds me of fuel pizza in charlotte nc! I love how they preserve history and are a part of the community ”
